Senior Executive, Cost & Contract

• Responsible to plan, manage and prepare / monitor / review and verify all tender documentations and providing support in the estimation of project costs, preparation of specifications, bill of quantities (BQ) and other tender requirements.
• Monitor and coordinate whole tender process to ensure contract is awarded within timeframe and budget
• Responsible to ensure all LOAs, contract documents, Contractor All Risks Insurance, Workmen Compensation Insurance, Performance Bond and relevant contractual correspondences are issued / replied/purchased/ renewed on reasonable timeframe
• Responsible to ensure project is implemented and executed in compliance with contractual terms; identify and report issues to superior.
• Responsible to verify interim progress claims and variation orders (VO) submitted by contractors and sub-contractors; obtain approval from superior on the certified claims.
• Attend to subcontractor and supplier issues/claims/variations in a tactful manner and within authority limits.
• Participate in the CCM and site meeting to review project progress and status.
• Coordinate during joint inspection with consultants, site management team and contractor(s) at site to identify and review on the progress of stage completion and variation orders
• Provide information on material specifications to Procurement Team to facilitate materials selection process.
• Ensure final accounts are finalized within stipulated timeframe.
• Responsible to ensure all contractual documents (softcopy or hardcopy) are highly secured within
Cost & Contract Section and easy for retrieval.
• Work closely with Project Management Team from the commencement of pre-contract stage until completion project including defect liability period (DLP).
• Maintain good relationship and coordination with main contractors, sub-contractors, consultants and related parties that involved in the projects.
• When necessary, participating in hand over completed projects and assists superior to furnish all relevant documents to Project Management Team.
• To undertake any and all other duties and responsibilities as instructed by the superior.

Qualification Requirements:
• At least 4 years of contract & costing experience, preferably in property development industry.
• Possess at least Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Survey, Engineering or related field.
• Experience in preparation of all contractual documents.
• Experience in a high rise building and mixed development construction.
• Familiar with the administration of Agreement and Conditions Of PAM Contract.
